Heres a collection of prints I made for last tear's RMIT Summer Printmaking Residencythe results of which form last December's show "Delineated", thanks to all involved especially Andy Tetzlaf.
All these works except the first one are from electronic and experimental music texts with the diagrams and scores replaced by other more lyrical objects. The works follow the original layouts of the pages and a tradition of visual scores. I was looking at the ability of the diagram to influence what is heard or can be heard and what is imagined or can be imagined, intending to open this up to a playful less scientific area, one which exists outside the realm of the diagrammatic.
Three of these prints are going into a show thats coming up for the 5th aniversary of the radio show Noise In My Head hosted by Michael Kucyk and co-curated with him by Utopian Slumps' Melissa Loughlan.
